"First thanks Rod Moore for his instruction during this challenge, and to the participants who 'gave it a go' and shared their versions of the assignments. As an MCI I was teaching a four workshop course at the same time the challenge was taking place. Participants in this course each submitted a photo for the class to paint. This made the first step in the Moore Method of Painting 2.0 particularly relevant. Each step of the Moore Method of painting 2.0 became easier to use as the course progressed. Modeling was a term that explained the process of creating form in a painting. This term alone helped me as an MCI to convey the importance of creating form in a painting. Using the five step approach as in the Moore Method of Painting 2.0 made moving forward with the painting easier ie less daunting. I was glad to have given this challenge 'a go'!"
